This must be the best example of using a QR code I have ever seen!

To attract busy commuters in South Korea, Tesco recently set up a QR shopping area. Since these potential consumers are time poor, Tesco decided to take their store to the customer instead of building another store. This allowed their customers to do grocery shopping while they were travelling to and from work – brilliant.

While the campaign was successful it was only treated as a one off marketing effort. QR codes are still seen as a fad, albeit a very useful one given the right creative.
