Introducing Peter, Creative Brew's director. The big picture man, head honcho and leader of the pack. He calls us his Angels (as in Charlie’s!). Yes I know, it’s really embarrassing. His trailblazing career in advertising began 20 years ago in “agency” land, and he’s been thumping the creative floor boards and managing diverse projects with aplomb every day since.
Peter’s impressive career hit the fast lane when he launched his own business. Diving deep into many a client’s briefs and leaving no stone unturned in his search for brand perfection he has been our rock since 1986.
Peter has been responsible for numerous strategic campaigns both locally and nationally, ranging from bringing The Melbourne Aquarium to life; introducing the “jigsaw” campaign to regional Victoria and developing “the Wine Regions of Victoria” publications. He has also worked closely with Holmesglen Institute of Tafe, Siemens, Connex, Moonah Links and Sanctuary Lakes to name a few.
Always ahead of the trends, Peter has become a new media enthusiast and yes, he has his own facebook page – much to the shame of his teenage daughter!
Tamar’s exciting career rates as folk lore in our office.
Born in New York of Armenian decent, she learned to walk and talk New York Style – fast, optimistic and driven. Once embedded in the land down under she adapted well to the slow village life in Perth (maybe a little too much). She followed her distinctive nose to Melbourne where the busy streets and smell of good food sang out to her heart.
The final chapter to her fairytale see’s 3 beautiful girls all aged under 5 climbing the staircase! Impressive yes, but more impressive is her innate talent for Account Management. She's run her own agency, managing global accounts like Pontiac, Toyworld, Valvoline, Nintendo, Cotes Du Rhone Wines, A’litalia, Jet Blue Airways and consulted for Cedar Woods, Porter Davis and Places Homes.
This exposure to so many different experiences has given her the knowledge, ingenuity and tenacious attitude that her role demands. Yes, we can all have that 'love/hate' relationship with Americans at times but if you have our American working hard as your client service you'll find it will be a 'love/love' experience.
It takes someone with more than style and good judgment to pack her bags and leave the sunny skies of Queensland behind for the fashion, food and coffee capital that is Melbourne. Waving goodbye to the banana benders has given the garden state one more talented Kylie we can now claim as ours. Following a hunch that advertising and art direction flowed in her blood she made sure that she graduated from Queensland College of Art around the same time the SE30 graduated from Apple Macintosh.
In her impressive career, Kylie's worked on numerous high profile accounts such as Tourism Queensland, Tattersall’s, Griffith University and every 5-Star hotel in town for agency’s DDB and Clemenger.
Kylie’s loves a challenge so her role as art director is complemented by her management of the Australian Women’s Ice Hockey Team in her spare time which sometimes is a harder nut to crack than a creative brief!
Hayley is our English immigrant – our Lady Godiva.
Three score and ten ago (well there abouts), legend reached us of a great English designer who was heading for the land down under – an impressive 10 years of experience, standing up for the rights of the clients, publishers and printers alike Hayley had plans to settle amongst the Mods in Melbourne.
That’s all history now, she’s been providing our clients intuitive design and managing our studio with military style precision for more than 10 years and is well and truly a part of our Melbourne scene.
To Hayley design is not a 3 year course, or a pimply kid with a keyboard, but a commitment to expressing a client’s story through strategy, great creative and perfect execution.
So next time you’re out late, keep your eyes peeled for our very own Lady Godiva racing through our streets on her moped – yes times have changed.
Our Mandy loves to play golf – and like all golfer’s it’s an obsession.
Yes it's a game of concentration and mastering mind over matter, but to Mandy it’s more like going into battle. And there is no doubt it’s Mandy’s obsessive nature and determination that makes her such an excellent account manager.
Mandy holds a Bachelor of business (major Marketing). After graduating from Monash University she’s had lengthy experience beginning her working career at Kodak, then moving on to London for a taste of the real world. Finally back to Melbourne she worked for DDB Needham/kuczinski & Zeigler as a Senior Business Manager running a team of Account Managers.
Her clients have included Cadbury Schweppes, Cottees, Murray Goulburn, Ansell, Mitre 10, Tampax, and Heinz to name a few! So yes we are lucky to have her on board. Oh - and did I tell you, she’s married to our Director and strangely enough he doesn’t play golf.
